If you are planning a trip to Boston, make sure you have more than two or three days available, because you will have plenty of sights to visit, and besides the landmarks there are also lots of events that take place here and are worth to be seen, such as the Boston Marathon or 4th of July. The tour will take you through downtown Boston, the North End and Charlestown and it ends at the USS Constitution. During your walking journey, you will be able to see the old State House, the Old North Church and Paul Revere's House.


Another sight not to miss is the Boston Public Garden, America's oldest botanical garden, where Swan Boats return to the garden each spring, following a tradition started by Robert Paget in 1877, when he invented this type of boats. Going further to the most popular destinations in Boston, you can go to Boston Common, a popular location for joggers and athletes, America's oldest public park. Around the park, there is the well-known bar from the TV show Cheers, on Beacon St., but it can only be visited by tourists, so don't expect to see many locals around there.


Moreover, you can eat, drink and shop at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, which is also known as Quincy Market. The place is named after Peter Faneuil, a French merchant, but it was also called the "Cradle of Liberty", because of the many revolutionaries who had important speeches in the Hall.


The oldest university in the US, Harvard, was founded in 1636 and had some famous and popular graduates, such as John Adams, Theodore and Franklin D. Roosevelt or John F. Kennedy. It is for sure one place worth visiting and exploring while being in Boston. Furthermore, some other top attractions in Boston are the Museum of Science, with more than 400 interactive exhibits, the Museum of Fine Arts, housing the largest variety of paintings by Claude Monet, outside France and New England Aquarium, a popular family attraction.
